The Red Park

Since the Bartletts were heading back home today, we gave Connor the option of spending the night at Grandma and Grandpa's last night so he could have some extra time with Kenner.  He didn't hesitate with his decision.  So after a night of games and laughs, Jeremy, Riley and I headed home for some sleep, leaving Connor behind so he could "camp" in a tent with Kenner.  We headed back to Grandma and Grandpa's this morning to say one last goodbye to the Bartletts, and of course to pick up Connor.  There was a moment of panic when the Bartletts' car was loaded up but Kameron's beloved blankie was MIA.  Luckily, Jeremy found it, but not before we had basically turned the entire house upside down to find it.  Once the blanket was safely back in Kameron's care and the Bartletts were on their way, Grandma and I decided to take advantage of the spring day and take the kids to one of the nearby parks.  There are two parks the kids enjoy visiting.  To distinguish between them, Connor refers to them as "the red park" and "the blue park."  Today was a red park day.

The weather is just now getting nice enough to be able to spend more time outdoors.  Just in time.  The boys can get stir crazy when they have to stay indoors too long.  They love playing at Grandma's parks.  And I love when they run around and expend all their energy.  Makes for good afternoon naps.
