Monkey Bizness

The day has come.  Riley has been invited to his first official birthday party for a friend.  He was a bit grumpy this afternoon when I woke him up from his nap.  He snapped out of it pretty quick when I reminded him he had to go to Ryan's party.  And away we went.  The party was at Monkey Bizness.  We had been there once before, but Riley was too small then to really do much or even remember it.  This time he proved to be the monkey I know he is.

Riley ran around for a good half hour before he finally found his friend Ryan.  They kept missing each other as they climbed, bounced, etc.  Riley was ecstatic when he finally looked up and saw Ryan at the top of the climbing tower, and quickly joined him.  From there, the two were inseparable.

After playing enough to work up an appetite, the kids were rounded up for cake and presents.  Riley didn't hesitate to dig into his cake.  Typical.  We had to leave before Ryan finished opening all his presents, and Riley wasn't too happy about that.  He kept saying, "Not yet.  Two minutes."  Even though Riley didn't want one, Ryan gave him a hug and thanked him for coming.
Further proof that Riley is, in fact, my son.
