What kid wouldn't love to have their birthday fall during spring break so they wouldn't have to go to school? Connor was pretty excited when he found out he didn't have to go to school on his birthday AND was going to be able to play with his cousin Kenner. However, it still took some planning ahead. He wanted to bring treats for his class, so we had to do it the week before his birthday. And for the first time in several years, Connor was able to bring homemade treats. They didn't allow it at his daycare because several of the kids had food allergies. When we heard the news that he could do something homemade, without skipping a beat he asked if he could make some "pupcakes." To keep in line with his Transformers birthday party theme, we made Bumblebee and Optimus Prime pupcakes. Chocolate of course.
